Event Information
The Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show is a one-day celebration of food, farming, and of course, cheese! Held on the second Saturday each September at the West Woodlands Showground, Frome, the show dates back to 1861 and now attracts over 18,000 visitors.
With more than 11 competition sections, including Livestock, Equine, Horticulture, and the prestigious Global Cheese Awards, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Visitors can also experience countryside displays, local food and drink, and family entertainment in our Little Show-Goers Play Zone, offering completely free activities such as pottery painting, face painting, Junk Jodie, crazy golf, and sand art.
The event showcases the best of British agriculture while providing a fun, educational day out that connects our visitors with farming and rural life.
Carer Ticket Policy - If a visitor requires an essential companion, a complimentary ticket is available upon purchase of a full price ticket. All essential companions must be a registered Carer / PA and are required to provide supporting documentation. This is mandatory and will need to be presented in advance or at the ticket sales office on Show Day.
Please bring at least one of the following (printed or scanned copies are acceptable);
- Middle or Higher Rate DLA for care and/or mobility
- Receipt of personal independence payment (PIP)
- Evidence of being severely sight impaired
- Recognised assistance dog ID card
- Receipt of receiving Attendance Allowance
Please note: A Blue Badge demonstrates that forward parking is required, it is not evidence that a person requires a carer.

Ticket Policy
The Organisers of the Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show advise that this is an outdoor event, and all visitors enter at
their own risk. Tickets are purchased subject to the following Conditions:
• 1) In line with government guidance applicable at the time of the Show on the admission of visitors to the Showground,
we advise you to abide by mandatory, or advisory that may be in place during the event. As a condition of booking your
ticket and entry to the event, you are kindly reminded of the requirement to adhere to this Code of Conduct which will be
outlined in full on the Show web site. The Society reserves the right to exclude any visitor that fails to comply with the
Code of Conduct
• 2) The Society does not accept any responsibility for personal injury or damage to Property, or any other loss, damage,
costs and expenses, however caused.
• 3) Tickets cannot be refunded once purchased.
• 4) The Society reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person who is in breach of or fails to conform to the
Society's rules or regulations.
• 5) Filming, photography and broadcasting takes place during the show at the Venue. You give your express consent to
the use of your actual or simulated likeness and voice in connection with the production, exploitation and advertising of
the show without compensation or credit, throughout the world.
• 6) For security reasons, visitors may be subject to extra searches of their bags. Thank you for your co-operation and
patience.
• 7) The benefits of membership may change as circumstances dictate. There will be no refund of membership should any
of the benefits not be available such as the cancellation of the Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show.
Data Protection & GDPR
The FDAS aims to set the best practice in implementing the Data Protection Act (1998) and GDPR (2018). As part of our
service to you, we would like to advise you that your details will be retained on a secure database. This is to facilitate any
ticket queries or future bookings. No card details are stored by the Show or our third party e-ticket provider, TicketSrv.
The Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show, FDAS and TicketSrv are PCI DSS Compliant and review security policies
annually.
Refund policy
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges unless the event is cancelled by the organisers, where required by law.
